  • 2019

    ISO certified, Mejzlik Propellers company, develops its first propeller exceeding a diameter of 1.5m as a custom project for a customer.

  • 2018

    The company celebrates its success. Multiple services, including design and simulation, are the result of many years of manufacturing and know-how, developed by Tomas Mejzlik Sr.

  • 2017

    Tomas Mejzlik sr. hands over the company to the next generation—Tomas Mejzlik jr. and his business partner, Jan Hruska.

  • 2013

    Due to high demand from business customers, the company presents its line of multicopter propellers that are used by the pioneers of the drone industry.

  • 2012

    The company moves to a bigger location in central Brno; now, all the production and research is under one roof.

  • 2010

    Due to high demand, a new line of propellers for electric motors are introduced to the market.

  • 2002

    13 out of 20 of the best pilots in the biggest RC event worldwide, Tournament of Champions, used Czech-made propellers under the brand Mejzlik Modellbau.

  • 2001

    A significant partnership with American motor manufacturer, Desert Aircraft, is formed, and penetration into a rapidly evolving market follows. The pioneers of the UAV industry are showing their interest in high-quality propellers.

  • 1999

    Tomas moves into manufacturing propellers for Giant Scale Airplanes. Bigger propellers made of carbon fiber for combustion engines.

  • 1992

    The first employee of Mejzlik Propellers, other than Tomas himself, joins.

  • 1989

    After the Velvet Revolution, Tomas Mejzlik establishes his propeller company—Mejzlik Modellbau and officially starts selling internationally.

    1987

    Tomas manufactures propellers for other model makers and slowly establishes his name internationally. Though prohibited to sell abroad, he did so during competitions to other pilots and had a major success selling thousands of propellers.

  • 1979

    Tomas wins the international F2D RC airplane competition using his own propellers, which generates interest from other pilots.

  • 1976

    Tomas manufactures his first laminate propeller in an oven at the same time his mother was baking duck for Sunday lunch.

  • 1974

    Tomas Mejzlik sr. starts flying model airplanes as his hobby during communism in Czechoslovakia.
